Kitchen Cleanup

The second in a series of three meditations on a rainy afternoon in Burgundy. Subdued color, soft values and edges were employed to create a sense of mystery. This version has but one person at the kitchen window, tending to routine tasks. Often it's in being alone, doing the mundane, that our minds are free to explore beyond the moment. The light coming through the window affirms the quiet moment in the day.
