Change is Inevitable

Changing skies never cease to inspire a sense of awe. Watching the clouds cross the sky above the medieval hill town of Lurs late in the afternoon on my way home made me stop long enough to paint one more piece before ending my day's work. There's something satisfying about capturing something so grand on a small, intimate scale. I have a feeling this scene will be recalled again on a larger format from home in the not too distant future.
